Heroes' Day 2007, Oslo Norway
LTTE leader commemorates war heroes: Velupillai Pirapaharan, the leader of the Liberation Tigers of Tamileelam, following his annual policy speech, participated in the Heroes Day commemoration event held at an undisclosed location in Vanni at 6:03 p.m. Tuesday. 19,887 fighters have died during the 25 years since 27 November 1982, when the first Tiger lieutenant Sanker was killed. 954 Liberation Tigers of Tamileelam (LTTE) fighters, 832 men and 122 women fighters, have been killed in action, up to November 20, 2007, in the second year of a largely defensive war faced by the Tigers, following the breakdown of the Norwegian facilitated February 2002 Cease Fire Agreement, last year.

LTTE releases names of Black Tigers in airbase raid
Liberation Tigers Monday night released the details of Black Tiger commandos who took part in the raid on Anuradhapura air base. Two Lieutenant Colonels, six Majors, 12 Captains and one Lieutenant rank Black Tiger members have taken part in the operation. A Lieutenant Colonel who led an attack team was from Trincomalee, two of the members, a Major and a Captain were from Batticaloa, one from Mullaiththeevu, one from Mannaar, three from Ki\'linochchi and eleven members from Jaffna which has been under the Sri Lanka Army (SLA) control since 1995. Three Captains were female Black Tigers.

Tigers launch air, ground attack on Anuradhapura air base
Liberation Tigers of Tamileelam (LTTE) launched an air and ground attack on Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) air base at Saliyapura in Anuradhapura in the early hours of Monday, Liberation Tigers Military Spokesman Irasiah Ilanthirayan told TamilNet. Meanwhile, military sources in Colombo said two Russian built MI-24 helicopter gunships have been destroyed in the attack launched between 3:00 and 5:00 a.m. A pilot, his co-pilot and two engineers who took off from the air base, were killed when their Bell 212 helicopter crashed at Doramadalawa, 13 km east of Anuradhapura, in Mihintale area. An indefinite curfew has been clamped in Anuradhapura. Residents have been asked to stay indoors.

Demonstrate for eelam people sivil rights.
Today, a group of people got together in india to demonstrate for eelam people sivil rights. The demonstration was started by the “Puthiya thamilaha katchi” with doctor kiritnisaamy in the main. Meaning of this demonstration was to support people from eelam, who has fought for their country more than 30 years without getting their rights.
